Timezones
Løbeapp schedules reminders and calendar invites around your day — not the server's. That's driven by one setting: the Timezone field in your profile.
Set your timezone
Open your Profile from the top bar and pick your timezone. New accounts default to Europe/Copenhagen.

What your timezone controls
- Notification timing — reminders fire at sensible local hours: the unlogged run reminder in the evening (around 21:00), and morning notifications plus the daily email digest around 08:00–08:15 — wherever you are.
- Calendar invites — planned sessions land in your calendar at the right local wall-clock time, and calendar apps handle the conversion correctly if you travel.
- "Today" — day-sensitive actions, like replanning a programme late in the evening or logging a run just before midnight, use your date, so a session never slips a day because a server elsewhere had already ticked past midnight.
What it doesn't change
Dates and times shown in the app follow your device's clock, like most apps. In practice the two agree — they only differ while you're travelling outside your home timezone.
:::tip Moving abroad? Update your profile timezone and your reminders, digest, and future calendar invites follow you. For a one-week trip you can happily leave it alone. :::
