Import runs from Apple Health
Ran with your Apple Watch — or any app that writes to Apple Health? The Løbeapp iOS app can read those workouts and stage them for import, so logging a run is a confirmation, not typing.
:::note Requires the iOS app Apple Health import works in the Løbeapp app for iPhone, which is rolling out now. On the web you log runs manually — or let Co-driver Pro read your watch screenshots. Android (Health Connect) is on the way. :::
Connect Apple Health
The first time you open the iOS app, Løbeapp asks for permission to read workouts from Apple Health. You can review this any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health. Løbeapp only reads running workouts — it never writes to Apple Health.
Fetch your runs
Open Integrations from the top bar:
- Active sources shows Apple Health and its connection state.
- Fetch earlier runs pulls workouts from a date range you pick — handy for back-filling the runs you did before Løbeapp.

Detected workouts appear under Imported runs as staged runs. Nothing is logged yet — a staged run is a suggestion waiting for you.
Confirm an import
Tap Import on a staged run and the Log Run screen opens pre-filled with the workout's date, distance, and time. If the run matches a planned session in your programme — even a day or two off its planned date — Løbeapp suggests the pairing, and you decide. Review, adjust, attach a shoe, and save. Only then does the run land in your history, mileage, and analytics.
Not a run you want tracked? Dismiss it (and Undo dismiss if you change your mind). The same workout is never staged twice, so you can fetch as often as you like without duplicates.
Workout-detected notifications
With push notifications turned on (in the Integrations panel or your profile), Løbeapp nudges you when a new workout is detected — tap the notification and you're one confirmation away from a logged run.
Your data
Imported workouts stay yours, like everything else in Løbeapp: import only happens when you confirm it, and disconnecting the source or declining the Health permission stops all reading immediately.
Next steps
- Log a run manually when you're off your watch.
- Watch the mileage add up on your shoes.
